A Long History in the North Thompson
In July of 2003, Scott Kershaw returned to Barriere after working in management for a large tire retailer around Western Canada to open his own business. Following in his father’s footsteps in automotive repair in the North Thompson since 1968, Scott opened Insight Tire and Auto with a single service truck providing mobile commercial service to clients throughout the North Thompson.
Our Evolution
In September of 2005 Insight Tire and Auto moved to their current location in the Barriere Industrial Park with one service bay to meet the growing demand for passenger and light truck tires. Through strategic alliances with partner buying groups Insight grew and was able to offer competitive pricing on national brand products. In January of 2006 Insight Tire and Auto added mechanical services to the business. Our Barriere location currently has three service bays offering full mechanical services in addition to tire sales and service.

In the future Insight Tire and Auto Ltd. will continue to provide superior services to customers in the North Thompson Valley. Our technicians are highly trained, and our equipment is up to date to ensure we are able to provide quality, timely and valuable repairs to your vehicles to ensure you can keep moving!
